TAKE ACTION!
We're buildling one of the largest global support communities for young adults affected by cancer by uniting all of the resources (support organizations, treatment centers, off/online social networks, etc...) under our 'one-stop' umbrella. Why? To help make life a little easier for survivors to create, connect, unite and get busy living. So take action in helping to shape our future by considering an active role in our growth and development through the following challenging opportunities:
We've got thriving chapters popping up all across the US and Canada. Why not consider joining one of our regional social events planning committees? Get involved with some great people and organize your own i[2]y events, complete with Stupid Cancer Happy Hours, midnight bowling, social networking and young professionals events!
If you are interested in organizing a fundraising event in your community to help support young adults affected by cancer, contact us. We'll give you the ideas and support to make it successful. Here are some great ideas to help our supporters get organized and get started: 1. Host a Stupid Cancer Happy Hour 2. Wine & Cheese Party 3. Cancerpalooza Benefit Concert 4. 0.05k Saunter For The No Cure 5. Hospital Guest Lecture 6. Disco Bowling Awesometime
Are you passionate about advocacy and social change? i[2]y Ambassadors prepare information, make presentations about young adult survivorship on our behalf at conferences, exhibitions and related educational oncology seminars where you will man our booth and engage with professional leadership. We will arm you with our talking points, coach you with the facts and, when necessary, cover related expenses. You will help to create a more informed public and raise awareness for young adult survivorship. To learn more about ambassadorship opportunities, please contact us directly.
