As an award-winning vocalist, entertainer, cancer survivor, and now one of the country's top speakers, Kevin Sharp has seen and done it all. He has the direct candor and disarming honesty of someone who has nothing to lose, everything to win and a burning desire to communicate. His remarkable tale incorporates not only his story but his music as well. A senior in high school, Kevin was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma and told that his chance of survival was slim. To everyone's surprise, he went into remission in 1991 and has been a champion for others ever since.
Kevin currently acts as a national spokesperson for the Make A Wish Foundation—an organization which he personally benefitted from while undergoing cancer treatment—and has since been honored with the prestigious "Wishgranter of the Year Award", which singled him out for the devotion, dedication and inspiration he provides the children. After surviving the many ups and downs of the music business the past few years, Kevin recently signed a recording contract with Cupit Records! He has also just released his first book, "Tragedy's Gift," which encourages others to never give up on life or on their dreams.
