For Chris and Eric Reading (pronounced Redding,) growing up as fraternal twin brothers added to the unique nature of their musical experiences. This relationship is embodied by the acclaimed music they are making today. Their impassioned commitment and remarkable talent for writing real-life songs is deeply reflective of their humanity and faith. Drawing strength from their mother's courageous—but ultimately losing—battle with cancer, the Readings are on a mission to make a difference.
If ever the phrase "well-rounded" was looking for a place to land, it could do a whole lot worse than to find itself attached to these sibling marvels. Their credits include several live television performances, multiple on-air interviews and performances at radio stations around the country, and songs in rotation in European radio. They have also opened for major label recording artists Jimmy Wayne, Jennifer Hansen, Billy Currington and performed at the Sundance Film Festival. Nashville has been good to The Readings as they continue on their journey writing, playing, recording music and living strong.
